At Chilton Church Antiques we offer a high standard of antique church furniture. We travel the length and breadth of the UK to search out high quality church furnishings to offer for sale to the trade and public. We deal with all denominations and undertake the removal and transport of all church furnishings ourselves.
Our church furniture is sourced from churches nationwide and are brought back to our workshop in Lancashire where they are retored to their former glory. The items avilable are costantly changing so keep checking back to see what we have or follow us on Facebook for Updates.
Bespoke Tables
At the bottom of this page you will find some examples of tables we have made using reclaimed church timber
We make tables in our own workshop using mainly reclaimed timbers and where possible legs that have been reclaimed from old tables ranging from mid Victorian to late Edwardian styles and beyond.
We can also make tables using square or tapered legs or with flat pedestal ends and, can even work to a design of your choice. These tables can be made to almost any length in oak, yellow pine or pitch pine depending on what we have in stock at the time.
Carved Oak Altar With Storage Stock Code 0217
Great quality oak altar with carved features includeing wheat sheafs and grape vines. This has two cupboards at the rear which then have drawers in. One side can hold 24 wine bottles. Could be used as a small bar or kitchen i sland.

Arts and Crafts Table Stock Code 0216
Stunning Arts and Crafts period oak table. It was part of a communion set, please see our chair page to peruse the matching throne. Lovely sharp lines throughout show off the workmanship of this table along with the lovely long turned stretcher and the fretwork frieze under the table top.

We have a good stock of reclaimed table legs and are happy to send pictures of component parts prior to constructing the table. Solid Oak Table
Solid oak table made from old reclaimed timbers.
The legs were sourced from an old joiners workshop that one of our trade customers had cleared out. They were probably turned about 25 years ago. We have stripped the old varnish off so that all the timber matches and have given it a traditional wax finish.
We have other legs similar to these and some very nice 300mm wide boards to construct the top from.

Large Pitch Pine Table
Large pitch pine table made from reclaimed materials. Can be made to almost any size but the legs will always differ as they have been reclaimed from an older table. We have a good stock of original legs and are happy to send pictures of legs prior to constructing the table.
This is an unusual sized table as it is 5 feet square! It was made specifically for a client and old billiard table legs were used.
This is another example of one of the styles that we can create to almost any length and width.
